- Simple and efficient operation enables short training period
- Customised dialogue design for every working environment
- Uniquely forward compatible and future-proof
Jungheinrich is presenting its warehouse management system, the Jungheinrich WMS, with a completely new user interface at the LogiMAT in Stuttgart. In order to increase the benefit to customers, the Hamburg-based solutions provider for the intralogistics sector has developed an operating concept for its WMS which is currently unique in the market.
The entire warehouse management system, including more than 450 input dialogues, was designed in such a way that it is completely customised to the needs of users and leads the user through the work processes and required inputs in a step-by-step manner.
Intuitive operation and optimised masks reduce the number of clicks necessary during use, thereby increasing the efficiency of workflows. During the design of the new input concept, the Jungheinrich developers were guided by modern operating systems and software applications. Users of the warehouse management system are able to operate it in a way that corresponds to their everyday working practices. As a result, Jungheinrich has once again significantly simplified the use of its warehouse management system. As recently as mid-February, Jungheinrich WMS received the “2018 best factory software” award due to its high customer benefit.
Markus Skof, Vice President of Warehouse Management Solutions at Jungheinrich, explains: “Our Jungheinrich WMS has the most modern and user-friendly interface in the industry today and is perfectly tailored to the needs of the intralogistics sector. With help from usability experts, we have developed an especially intuitive and easy-to-use interface. This significantly reduces the required training phase and associated expenses in our customers’ plants and minimises possible operating errors, thereby providing relief to warehouse employees. We have deliberately designed the new WMS interface in such a way that it supports a broad range of input and output devices. Through individualised dialogue design, we have ensured that specific adjustments can be made as needed for almost every working environment.”
About Jungheinrich WMS
